Edenton Coffee House is located in the heart of historic downtown Edenton, the county seat of Chowan County. The coffee house was established in 2003 as Acoustic Coffee - a coffee shop and music venue - which quickly became the unofficial “town hall” for many Edenton residents. In 2007 the name was changed to Edenton Coffee House Bakery and Cafe. At this time a lunch menu was added along with the addition of art and jewelry made by local artists. Later a bookstore was added.  In 2012 the bookstore moved to a new location and the music returned.

Edenton Coffee House continues to grow and change in order to provide quality products and service to the residents of Edenton, Chowan County, and the Albemarle Region of Northeastern North Carolina. Come in and sit a spell. Our roomy establishment provides the perfect spot to visit with friends, meet a business client, or even have a small group meeting while enjoying breakfast, lunch, or a snack.
